The history, pride, and tradition
of Russellville High School are important to the alumni and the
community as a whole. Our success in academics, athletics,
band, and other organizations has established RHS as one of the
premiere schools in the state of Alabama. This school is
recognized as being a school of excellence and SACS
accreditation. Over 1.5 million dollars in scholarship
money was awarded to our senior class in 2007. Our
athletic programs compete and win at a high level. The
gymnasium at RHS is filled with banners and trophies from a
number of our athletic programs and the success they have
brought to the school and community. The Marching 100
always does excellent. Whether on the field at half-time
or at competition our band is the greatest! RHS has the
best students around. PERIOD!
There is a project in
motion to upgrade and beautify our facilities. We have one
of the nicest stadiums in the country, and we want our entire
facility to reflect how wonderful our school really is.
There are many ideas and projects to come. At this time,
we are selling bricks with family, alumni, supporters, and
business names. These bricks will be placed on the wall
between the field house and home side of the stadium. The
bricks will be engraved with the information you select.
